Student Agreement & Code of Conduct

By creating an account, you agree to these terms.

1 Acceptance & "AS IS" Usage

This software is a tool to assist in recording your attendance. It is NOT the final authority. By using this app, you acknowledge that:

  • Software Glitches: The System is provided "AS IS". If technical issues prevent you from marking attendance (e.g., server downtime, GPS errors), it is your responsibility to inform your Faculty immediately.
  • Academic Liability: The Developers are not liable for attendance shortfalls, grade penalties, or exam debarment caused by your failure to verify your attendance status.

2 Code of Conduct: Zero Tolerance

Proxies & Fake Attendance

Any attempt to mark attendance when not physically present in the classroom is a violation of University Integrity Policies.

  • Device Sharing: Logging into another student's account to mark attendance is strictly prohibited.
  • QR Sharing: Sending photos of the Class QR Code to absent students is considered fraud.
  • Suspicion-Based Suspension: The system detects anomalies (e.g., location spoofing, rapid device switching). If your account is flagged as "Suspicious", it will be IMMEDIATELY SUSPENDED pending investigation.

3 Security & Hacking

System Integrity

You agree not to reverse-engineer, modify, or attack the System. This includes packet sniffing, modifying API requests, or using scripts to bypass geolocation checks.

Consequences of Attack

If we detect a cyberattack or tampering attempt originating from your account or device:

  1. Your IP Address and Device ID will be PERMANENTLY BANNED.
  2. Your Student Account will be locked.
  3. A report will be generated for the University Disciplinary Committee.

Unban Policy

Banned accounts will ONLY be reinstated at the sole discretion of the System Administrator.
Excuses regarding "testing the system" will not be accepted.

4 Data Privacy & Access

Your location data is processed only at the moment of scanning the QR code to verify proximity.

Note: The System Administrators reserve the right to access your logs, device fingerprints, and location timestamps to investigate disputes or suspected fraud.
